Breaking Barriers to Healthcare: 500 Families Served in Iriga City

Caring for communities means more than financial support—it means ensuring access to health, wellness, and hope.

On October 11, 2025, LifeBank Foundation, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), delivered a comprehensive medical mission in Barangay San Vicente Sur, Iriga City, Camarines Sur, bringing essential healthcare and preventive knowledge to 500 beneficiaries.

The mission addressed both immediate health needs and long-term wellness for Ikabuhi Microfinance Program (IMP) members and Iriga City residents. Services included medical consultations, basic treatments, preliminary health assessments, random blood sugar and cholesterol testing, and medicine distribution.

Beyond clinical care, the event featured educational sessions that empowered families with life-saving knowledge—including health and home safety lectures, hygiene and healthy lifestyle guidance, CPR demonstrations, and first aid training.

This initiative was made possible through collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross Camarines Sur Chapter, City Health Office of Iriga City, Spyra Salon, Partnership for Transparency Foundation Asia (PTFA), and the Barangay Council of San Vicente Sur.

The mission stands as a powerful testament to what partnership and compassion can achieve—laying a foundation for future programs dedicated to uplifting community well-being.
