Access to quality healthcare remains a challenge for many communities. In response, this initiative was launched to bring essential health services directly to those in need, reinforcing a shared commitment to care, compassion, and community well-being.
On the beautiful island of Palawan, the spirit of compassion and unity was evident as LifeBank Foundation in collaboration with Philippine Red Cross – Palawan Chapter, gave a life-changing medical mission last November 8, 2025 at Brgy. Bagong Sikat Covered Gym, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
This initiative was made possible through the dynamic collaboration of Mr. Ricardo B. Panganiban, Puerto Princesa City Health Officer; and Hon. Alberto M. Alib, Barangay Captain of Brgy. Bagong Sikat, whose unwavering commitment to supporting families, enhancing well-being, and fostering a community built on care and solidarity.
A total of 573 members from four branches in Puerto Princesa City and walk-in non-LBF member beneficiaries received free consultations, vitamins, essential medicines, eye check-ups and glasses, blood typing, and health education.
Beyond providing medical care, this medical mission became a source of hope and knowledge, nurturing trust and stronger bonds within the community. The legacy of this effort lives on the renewed sense of possibility and solidarity it inspired among all who participated.
Furthermore, this goal stands as a testament to the power of partnership and shared purpose. Through the ongoing collaboration between LifeBank Foundation and the Philippine Red Cross, a steadfast commitment is demonstrated in breaking barriers to healthcare access, empowering communities, and nurturing a future where well-being is truly within everyone’s reach.
As we move forward, let us continue to work hand in hand, inspired by compassion and driven by vision. Together, we can turn hope into action and ensure that no one is left behind on the journey to better health.
